Intro Cafe Bar

Intro was born in 2021 on Av. Larco in Miraflores, and this is its third location, set in an old house at Av. San Martín 451 in Barranco; behind it are chef Ignacio Barrios and his partner Marcial Ortiz de Zevallos. According to Correo (2025), the space combines high ceilings, a large central bar, artwork for sale on the walls and a terrace that lights up at night. The menu covers the whole day: breakfasts with eggs, waffles or croque madame, sandwiches, small plates such as garlic shrimp or beef carpaccio, pizzas to share and, at night, cocktails and craft beer. Our take: it is an all-day spot rather than a culinary destination, useful for a long breakfast or a drinks-and-nibbles plan, and the old house gives this location a character the Miraflores ones lack. Reservations are made via WhatsApp, and its Instagram account announces Wednesday jazz nights in Barranco. Curator's note: the hours (daily from 8 am to 1 am) come from an unclaimed Google listing, and the phone number is the brand's general line, shared with the Miraflores locations.
