La Barra de Jackili Miraflores

La Barra de Jackili occupies a house with a terrace at Av. 28 de Julio 1275, at the end of Miraflores that looks toward Barranco. It is one of three locations of a brand that presents itself as a specialist in seafood and Creole dishes, with outposts also in Los Olivos and Rímac. Ceviche, lomo saltado and seafood platters for sharing rule the table —the one the house itself shows combines ceviche, seafood rice, seafood chaufa, causa and leche de tigre—, with pisco sour and a separate cocktail list; it also serves breakfast. Our take: it is Lima neighborhood seafood cooking transplanted to Miraflores built more for a sharing group than for a tasting. It opens daily from 8:00, until 22:00 Monday to Saturday and until 19:00 on Sundays; reservations are made by WhatsApp and Google notes free parking and that dogs are allowed.
