La Lucha Sanguchería Criolla

This Lucha is at Av. Diagonal (Óscar R. Benavides) 308, on the side of Parque Kennedy lined with cafés and restaurants, with some outdoor tables. The brand was founded in August 2009 in Miraflores by César Taboada, an accountant born in Catacaos, with an American partner, and today has outlets in several Peruvian cities and abroad. The menu revolves around Creole sandwiches —pan con chicharrón and turkey, with wood-oven roasted meats and house-baked bread—, plus fresh juices and chicha morada. Our take: it is the most nocturnal version of a chain that turned the Lima sandwich into a brand, and thanks to its location and hours it works for breakfast as well as for the end of the night. According to the house it is open from 8:00 to 1:00 Sunday to Wednesday, until 4:00 on Thursdays and 24 hours on Fridays and Saturdays; Google notes it does not take reservations and is suitable for children.
