La Preferida

La Preferida has two locations in Miraflores and this branch at Av. La Encalada 908 in Surco, on the avenue's restaurant strip, with outdoor seating and a bar. The house is defined by its Creole sandwiches and its fish and seafood, and keeps separate breakfast, lunch and signature-drinks menus. Our take: it is a neighborhood wildcard that works as well for a Creole breakfast as for an unceremonious seafood lunch, and Google lists high chairs for children. It opens Monday to Saturday from 8 a.m. to 11 p.m. and on Sundays only until 5 p.m.; the house publishes a dedicated WhatsApp for orders and reservations at this branch.
