The house sits on Calle Santa Catalina, on the monastery's own sidewalk, and runs straight through from breakfast to night: coffee in the morning, lunch, and from late afternoon a bar with craft beers and natural wines from independent vineyards. The kitchen bets on handmade and unfussy, and Google reviews single out the coffee as much as the cocktails, the desserts and the beer selection. Our read: it's one of the most comfortable spots in the old town to settle in for a while —there are outdoor tables and a relaxed room—, it works equally for a date or a group, and while it doesn't require booking, Google recommends it for lunch and dinner. Parking nearby is hard: better to arrive on foot.
