Alanya Repostería

Alanya Repostería occupies a spot on Jr. Domeyer, a few blocks from the centre of Barranco, with seats on the terrace and out on the pavement. The house describes itself as fine patisserie, viennoiserie and coffee; the photos diners post to Google keep returning to the lemon tart, the panna cotta, the croissant, the eggs benedict and the caffè latte, and Google credits it with good coffee and a very good tea selection. Our read: it works less as a display-case pastry shop and more as a long-hours neighbourhood café — it opens at 7am and closes at 10pm; Google flags it as a good place to work on a laptop and as popular with university students, which is exactly what it is during the week. Practically: there is no parking of its own and street parking is free but hard to find, so in Barranco it is better reached on foot. Curation note: the Google listing has not been claimed by the business and there is no owner-posted photo category, and the alanya.pe domain redirects to Instagram rather than to a site of its own, so this entry carries no images. Alanya also has two other locations in Lima (Av. del Pinar 107 and El Polo 759); this entry is the Barranco one.
