Mayta

Mayta is Jaime Pesaque's flagship in Miraflores, on Mariscal La Mar avenue. In 2025 it placed 11th at Latin America's 50 Best, 39th on the global list and fourth at Summum — one of the most consistent Peruvian presences across all three rankings. The multi-course tasting includes its duck skillet prepared five ways over rice, a signature worth ordering; those who'd rather share have a solid à la carte and a good wine and pisco list. The room is large and runs lunch and dinner nearly every day, making it easier to book than the few-cover tastings. It makes sense for a serious work lunch or a dinner that wants height without booking months out.
