Rustica Costa Verde

Rustica Costa Verde sits on Playa Barranquito, on Barranco's Circuito de Playas, in a two-level complex right by the breakwater with the cliffs behind it; the Antiqua nightclub operates on the same property. It is the beach branch of the Rustica chain, which presents itself as restaurant, buffet, shows, karaoke and nightclub, and its October lineup has live acts practically every day. Google places it in the S/ 40-140 per person range and highlights happy-hour food, cocktails and live music. Our take: what you pay for here is the sea and the party, not the kitchen; it works for a big group, a birthday or a sunset with drinks facing the Pacific. According to the website it opens daily from 11:00 to 03:00 and reservations are not needed, though they can be requested online. It is a separate branch from Rustica Barranco, the one on the Parque Municipal.
