Siete Sopas

The name comes from the family habit of serving a different soup every day of the week, and it grew into a chain of around ten branches across the country. This Lince location, on Avenida Arequipa, is a two-storey industrial room where the order almost always ends up the same: chicken broth, sopa a la criolla, minestrone and the house bread. One important detail: the brand became famous for staying open 24 hours, but this branch does not —it runs 9 a.m. to midnight, and to 1 a.m. on Saturdays—; the one that never closes is on Angamos, in Surquillo. Our read: comfort food at an honest price and in generous portions; do not come for refinement, come hungry.
