Why go
The curatorial premise is more interesting than the average group show: take the heartbeat as a starting point and follow it outward, until you find it repeated in musical rhythm and in the cycles of the universe. The same frequency at three scales.
Barbara Ilse, Gracia Teruya, Rocío Pozo and Violeta Villa each offer different readings of that idea, curated by Martín Yépez. Having an actual thesis rather than gathering works by vague affinity is what lifts it.
Free entry at Casa Garbo, Miraflores. Open through late September, so there's no rush — but don't leave it to the last day either.
