Blanquita is one of those Iquitos addresses that travels by word of mouth rather than online: no website, no social accounts, a Google listing nobody has even claimed — and close to two thousand reviews all the same. It works nights only, opening at 5:30 pm and closing past eleven (Wednesdays it stops at ten), and rests on Sundays. The cooking is Loreto Amazonian, the food of Iquitos itself, and in 2026 it landed among the ten nominees for best restaurant of the Amazon region at the Premios Somos. It sits at Francisco Bolognesi 1181, a few blocks from the Belén market, with delivery and takeaway.
