Casa Garbo

Casa Garbo occupies the Cantuarias 175 mansion — the same house that was Astrid & Gastón for years — and uses all of it: a vaulted entrance hall, the main bar, an open-air bar and a soundproofed basement that opens onto the dance floor. Jorge Muñoz runs the kitchen as finger food with restaurant ambitions: wagyu carpaccio, pulpo al olivo, steak tartare, fideuá, burgers in the small hours. Behind the bar, Luis Flores signs thirteen house cocktails. Our read: this is a long-night place rather than a dinner one — Wednesdays start at one in the afternoon, and Friday and Saturday it closes at three in the morning — with guest musicians and cooks on Saturdays.
