Kafi Wasi Café Tostaduría

Kafi Wasi is a roastery first and a café second: they buy and roast Peruvian coffee, sell it as beans and pour it at their room on Calle Sucre, two blocks from Arequipa's Plaza de Armas. The place sits in an old house with sillar arches, a long machine-lined bar and a mural mapping coffee across Peru. Beyond the coffee they run barista courses and supply hotels and restaurants wholesale. The kitchen backs it with breakfasts, toasts, sandwiches and baking, and the house is well known among people who work from cafés: there are sockets and wifi at every table. Open from eight in the morning to nine at night, and until four on Sundays.
